Car hire

The terms and conditions of car hire will be forwarded to you after your holiday balance payment has been received. Holidays that include car hire are normally fully inclusive and there are no extra charges for additional insurance, although some companies may charge a deposit or payment on collection of the car for fuel. They may also offer you additional wheel insurance that is optional. Additional charges may apply for drivers under 21 or over 72 years of age. A full, valid driving licence is required, including the paper counterpart.

We are not responsible for any excess that may be required due to miss use of the car e.g. driving over the legal alcohol limit, driving off road, etc. We are also not liable for any fines that you may receive due to being prosecuted by the Spanish Authorities for any driving offences.

We also cannot guarantee any aspect of the car rental and changes may be made to your car hire reservation at any time.

Please note that it is ultimately the drivers responsibility that the car complies with the law in Spain.

Train travel

We will always endeavour to offer you the best times for your train travel and to book tickets or any particular times of trains or class of seats that you have requested, but this cannot be guaranteed due to availability.

Please note that once you have received your train tickets they are not transferable to a different time and if you miss a train it will your responsibility to purchase further tickets and to get to your next hotel or onward destination but if you contact us we will of course do all that we can to assist you.

We cannot be held responsible for an inconvenience caused by a delayed or cancelled train. However, RENFE who operate the trains in Spain normally provide alternative transport such as a coach, if a train is cancelled for any reason.

The above also applies for any coach/bus reservations we may have made on your behalf.

Private drivers and taxis

We try to use only reputable drivers and taxi companies but we are not responsible for any loss, injury or inconvenience caused by their actions
